Class 4 MOT Testing

As a DVSA approved tester, we’re able to carry out MOTs on cars, small vans, taxis and some other larger vehicles. We’ve been carrying out MOTs for years and have a trained tester within our team. Your car is due to have an MOT every year once it’s 3 years old, and it’s important to get it done otherwise you can’t drive it legally on the roads. We have an MOT checker, so if you’re not sure when it’s due you can easily find out. We’ll take an hour to complete the test which involves inspecting various parts of your car to make sure it’s safe. We’ll also check your exhaust emissions to make sure they are within the legal limits.
We’ll always let you know the outcome of the test and what is required if your car has failed. We can do the repair work for you too, so there’s no need to worry if there’s a problem.

Services for all Makes and Models

You also need to remember to have regular car services to help keep your car in working order. You may require an interim, full or major service, and we can do all 3 for you here at Johnson Motors. We have a service ramp for carrying out the work, where we can easily change your oil, filters and brake pads if required. Depending on the level of service you require we may do additional checks on things like your starter motor and spark plugs.

Once we’ve finished your service we’ll always complete and stamp your log book so there’s a record of what has been done. We can use this next time to determine what service level is needed.
